Superhuman Strength: Hank McCoy is in possession of a strength that ranges above the natural abilities of a human person. His increased strength has further developed along with his mutation. Before his mutation first manifested entirely, he was capable of pressing approximately 1 ton. Records describing his complete transformation (and mutation) reveal that he can press up to 10 tons, and perform as much as lifting up cars, and throwing them away as an example of his superhuman strength.

Superhuman Durability: When fully transformed, Beast can withstand combat for a prolonged amount of time without getting injured as easily as when he would when not completely manifested.

Superhuman Speed: Beast has been recorded to run up to 40 miles per hour over short distances, making him slightly quicker than the finest, natural results of professional human athletes. Before his mutation completely manifested, Hank McCoy has run around the Xavier estate in a matter of seconds.

Superhuman Agility: Beast has developed enhanced ability, balance and coordination that are well beyond the natural capacities of humans. As his mutation further developed, so did his agility. Beast has been recorded to be able to perfectly move on both, hands and feet. He is also capable of performing complicated gymnastics stunts such as flips, rolls and springs without trouble despite never having enjoyed gymnastics training of any sort throughout his life, as far as records tell.

Retractable Claws: When fully manifested, Beast sports razor-sharp claws on all of his fingers and toes. They've been recorded to cut through various materials such as wood, stone, flesh and some metals.

He possesses a remarkably high IQ, with extraordinary expertise in genetics, biochemistry, electronics, mechanics and several other subjects. His intellect is almost superhuman, and has proven to be of significant use to the X-Men many times before.

Master Hand-to-Hand Combattant: While with the X-Men, McCoy has proven himself to be a remarkable hand-to-hand combattant. It is a fighting style that benefits well from his superhuman strength, durability and agility.

Expert Pilot: Hank McCoy has been reported to possess knowledge of multiple types of aircrafts, and has shown the ability to fly and control a vast majority of them. This eventually earned him a position as the designated pilot with the X-Men.
